Today we drove from Tacoma to Mount Rainier. It was a beautiful drive along the way. We stopped at a few places, but didn't get to do much hiking. Most of the snow was still on the ground, though it's been in the high 80s over the weekend. This only made the snow slushy, which was too difficult and dangerous to attempt with Jaelyn. Just shows we're in a new phase of life. I certainly never would have thought twice about climbing and hiking through slippery/slushy snow before she arrived. :)

Once we got into the Mt. Rainier park, we stopped at Paradise and had lunch. We put Jaelyn's feet in the cold, mountain snow. She didn't like it much, but we can cross it off of her 'Things To Do List". Funny we went to Washington to have Jaelyn experience snow when we live in such a snowy state!
