Today we celebrated the 4th with Scott's family again. We arrived here late last night, after the ferry ride back to Anacortes, and the drive to their home. We went to see the David, Anna, and Uncle Jay in a 4th of July Parade. We only watched the beginning of the parade when they were walking, since Jaelyn hasn't done great with parades in the past.
Mid afternoon, Des picked us up again and we headed back to her house. It was a quiet evening. We took naps, rested up and watched the fireworks on TV. Jaelyn has been so great, we didn't want to push it, especially since yesterday was such a long day.
TV Fireworks aren't quite as great as they are in person, but we'll have many years of fireworks ahead of us.
