Hangin' out with Grandpa We had a fun weekend. My folks came into town to get their 'Jaelyn fix', and it was an eventful time for all of us.
It started Thursday evening when I realized Jaelyn was cutting her first tooth! She's been drooling like crazy for the last few weeks and chomping on everything in sight. Also, this past week she's been a bit more cranky than usual. Now we know why! I'm not able to get a picture of it just yet, but it's there!
While Grandma and Grandpa were here, Jaelyn started getting good at a few things....she's getting great at making silly noises when we lightly pat her mouth. She'll change the sounds she makes and loves hearing herself....OOOooooOOOOoooo.
Jaelyn is also starting to reach out when she wants to go to someone or be picked up. She still fusses and cries when she wants a change of scenery, but is getting better at reaching for someone she wants to go to.
The biggest news, besides the tooth, is she is starting to sit! When we put her in a sitting position, she is able to sit for almost a minute and then get her self into a three point position with her hands and butt on the ground. She is still wobbly and can't pull herself into a sitting position yet, but it's just around the corner!

Look how fast you are growing! Just three weeks since I've seen you and so many new fun games. Keep it up, sweetheart. Your Auntie Desiree loves you!

Jaelyn's got the best seat in the house sitting with grandpa! :) I miss you and wish I could have been there with all of you! Jaelyn I'm so proud of you! Sitting up, eating new foods, and you even started making new sounds. I wish I could watch you all day long! Just another week and a half! Love you!!
