The Flight Home

Saturday, we had a very quiet and restful day. We did some sight seeing in Tacoma, Jaelyn played with Lenny some more and we had a barbecue with Desiree's family and some of her friends. It was a nice low-key way to end a busy vacation.

Our flight left at 12:30am on Sunday. We got landed at 5:30am and made it back to our house around 7:30. Again, Jaelyn did a great job on the flight. Many people commented on how well she did and how impressed they were. :) Scott and I didn't really sleep at all on the plane, so that was our main priority on Sunday, that and unpacking.

Last night, we were already able to get Jaelyn back to her normal sleep schedule, PTL! I was so dreading staying up with her until 11 or so. Thankfully, she moved right into normal times and we were all able to be in bed by 9:30.

It was a fun trip and we were so grateful for Scott's family and Des being flexible when we needed to give Jaelyn some down time or let her sleep a little longer. We loved seeing everyone and spending time together.

I'll be adding photos to our Picasa album shortly, but thought I'd leave you with a few of my favorites from the trip:

Just think some day when Jaelyn is President of the USA, she can have Air Force One as her own private plane. Maybe she will let you and Scott ride with her. LOL

Wow! My baby Jaelyn just keeps getting bigger! I hate that it's been almost eight whole weeks since I've got to play with or hold my birthday present! I'm so glad that she's being so well behaved for her mommy and daddy! I love the picture of Jaelyn in her life jacket with her little tongue sticking out! Muah! I wish I could kiss those little round cheeks! :) - Aunty Amy
