Today, I started work again. Jaelyn headed back to Katy's. With Scott's new job, he is able to bring Jaelyn to daycare in the mornings and I'll pick her up in the afternoons.
This morning, they were ready to leave a few minutes before I was. There was Jaelyn in her new shoes, a new outfit and a cute jacket. After getting a hug and kiss, she was walking down the driveway. Scott was at his car putting her bag in. I was standing on the porch, watching my little girl walk off to daycare. She looked so grown up, so confident, so sure of herself. Part way to the car, she turned around, waved, said, "Bye!" and blew me a kiss. She then turned around again and got in Scott's car.
It was such a precious sight. She's so independent. My little girl is growing up!
