Wow, today, Jaelyn is 18 months old. It is amazing to think of how much she has changed, even over these few short months of summer. She is talking so much more now. She is able to communicate just about anything she wants with us. It is fun to decipher her new words as she is figuring out more sounds. She still loves animals and can imitate about a dozen of them. She will grab a book and 'read' it out loud for us now. She loves to point to everything in the books we read to her and asks what things are and names many of the pictures she sees.
She also loves to help around the house. Anything she sees Mom and Dad doing, she wants to do to. She especially loves taking her wipes off the dresser, pulling them out, one at a time, and wiping everything from the TV to the carpeting. She also loves to help with laundry. She will put clothes in the washer, in the dryer, push the buttons to start the machines, pull clothes out of the dryer and 'help' me fold clothes by shaking them out for me. :)
We are having so much fun this summer with our little Jaelyn. She amazes us each and every day and we are so blessed to have her.
