Thank you, Mrs. Nemeth

Ah, Mrs. Nemeth. She was my kindergarten and my first grade teacher. What a wonderful two years those were. I don't have many memories of the specifics, but I remember the hug I got when my great-grandpa died. I remember the story times. I remember feeling special in her class. I found out late of the schedule changes she made just so I could meet a challenging goal my dad had set for me. I remember the care she had for her students. When I was in her class, I decided then that I wanted to be teacher, just like Mrs. Nemeth.

This past school year, Mrs. Nemeth retired. In response to a card I sent her to congratulate her on the next season of her life, she mailed a present out for Jaelyn. :)

I may have lived in Minnesota for the past 15 years, but I'm a Cheesehead at heart. Jaelyn needs to know about her Green Bay roots!

Thank you, Mrs. Nemeth. Not only for the shirt, but for touching my life :)

We'll pull this out in a few seasons for Jaelyn to wear again. :)
