Northwest Trek

Desiree's sister-in-law, Tavia, and niece, Magdalene, came to visit today. Magdalene is about two months younger than Jaelyn. We had the girls together last summer when we came to visit. They've grown quite a bit since then! :)

Jaelyn wasn't too sure about Magdalene's hugs. :)

We headed to the Northwest Trek. It is like a safari for animals found in the Pacific Northwest. We traveled out on an hour long tram ride around the park and got to see all kind of animals. Jaelyn had a blast seeing these animals up close. Many of them were only feet away from the tram so we were able to get up close and personal.

After seeing her reaction to the animals today, we'll have to make it a point to get her to more zoos in the near future.
