Getting Easier

Well, we've completed a full week of Daycare and yes it has gotten easier...on both of us. :) Jaelyn cried for the first few days, (and I'm not crying anymore, but I've gotten choked up a few days). Now, Jaelyn is doing great with Katy. She naps much better for her than she does for us. We'll have to get some tips from Katy to make our weekends a little easier. :)

Jaelyn has a new friend this week at Daycare, a 2-month old. As they were going for a walk today, the young one was crying. Jaelyn just looked at her like, 'What are you doing?". She then looked away and shook her head! She's been doing that a lot lately, it was just great to hear that she's doing it when it seems appropriate! She sure has a way of making us laugh.

We're working on getting Jaelyn to eat peas, though she's fighting it. I tried to be sneaky and mix them in with her sweet potatoes (which she loves) but she just looked at me like, "Yeah right, I know what you did!" and she sealed her lips shut and refused to eat any of them! What a little stinker. :)

She's getting two more teeth in as well. We expected them to be the top two center teeth, but she is getting the next two outer teeth, so she looks like she has baby fangs. Can't wait for those to show up in photos!

Now that I am officially back in school, I thought I should get Jaelyn more in the 'school mode' too. She was happy to oblige. :)

See I told you it would get better with time LOL.

I suppose the "peas" are green peas. Well I do not like them my self. Get some good "Black eyed peas" They go good with sweet potatos. (good southern dish). I am not around Jaelyn, but she knows good food. You should get her some "good Grits"
