Well, we've reached the seven month milestone. :) Jaelyn is doing great! She is eating more and more. She's loving peas, carrots, apples, bananas, and sweet potatoes. We're starting nectarines and peaches this week.
Jaelyn is constantly on the move. I'm starting to call her my 'little tornado'. When she is in our arms, she is always twisting every which way to see all that is going on around her. It's hard to hold her sometimes because she is so active.
She is also very active on the floor. She isn't crawling yet, but she is getting very close. She can go from a sitting position to being on all fours and rock back and forth for a bit, before she falls on her belly. She also can pull herself to a standing position from a sitting position when she holds onto our hands. Scott and I have to be very diligent about keeping our floor clean. Jaelyn is scooting all around and picking up everything in sight. She does the classic army crawl across the floor. It's so cute to see that little butt wiggling in the air as she moves. :)
Scott and I continue to love parenting. We won't say it's completely a bed of roses, but the fun times far outweigh the tiring times. Of course, sometimes they are one in the same.
Below is a video of her loving her jumperoo. Sorry the quality isn't the greatest. In the background is one of her Baby Einstein videos. You can see that she often stops whatever she is doing when she sees the camera. It's making it increasingly difficult to get good pictures of her. She'll often just freeze in front of the camera. :) Hopefully being camera shy won't last forever!
