I started Saturday morning, making zucchini bread. My coworker had given me a few zucchini out of her garden on Thursday and I was excited to make bread. One that she gave me was honestly longer than my forearm! From that one zucchini, I made a double batch of bread...4 loaves! After having a few slices, Scott asked if we had to share it. I guess that means he liked it. :)
I then went to work on making food for Jaelyn. I've been thinking about this since last fall. I found a few good websites to guide me in the process, so this weekend, we bought a small food processor and I dug in. I started with making carrots and sweet potatoes. It was so very easy and really pretty quick. I now have ice cube trays in the freezer with these orange delights. :) I'll move on to peas and green beans next.
Next, I decided it was time for some more chocolate chip cookies. So, with all of that baking, cooking, not to mention our normal meals throughout the weekend, we were in the kitchen quite a bit. I'm just so thankful I have a hubby who is willing to work in there with me and clean up after all of my mess! Love you, Babe!
