Jaelyn Elyse Paulson!
The wait is finally over. Our little daughter was born at 12:57pm on Wednesday, February 13th. She was 7lbs. 8 oz. and 20 inches long.For all of you who were praying with us for the pitocin-free labor, our prayers were answered! We checked into the hospital around 6:30am, the doctor broke my water at 8:10 am, though contractions had already started on their own. After my water broke, the contractions came on hard and strong and there was no need for the pitocin at all! Thank you , God!
By 11:50am, it was time to push and Jaelyn was born at 12:57pm. Labor was only about 5 hours total, which was another answer to prayer.
We came home this afternoon, and though we're tired, we are elated over our new bundle of joy.
We'll be adding more in the days ahead, but wanted to let you all know that our long wait was well worth it. :)

COngratulations again!!! She is absolutely beautiful!! I can't wait for Sophie to get here so her and Jaelyn can become best friends :)
