Happy Father's Day!

In this crazy life world called Parenting, I am so blessed to be partnering with my hubby Scott.  As I type this, he is sitting with Jaelyn on the couch following their nightly routine of reading together.  This routine that he's established with her is a major contributor to her current reading abilities and academic success (though she's not hit Kindergarten yet...)

He's a steady man, a loving man, a playful man, and a patient man.  He's hands on and involved in his kids' lives.  He wants the very best for his family and does all he can to make sure we are taken care of.  We are so very blessed to call him our own!

After picking up a pizza for lunch after church, the kids took a long nap.  (Momma did too!)  We all needed it after the long day yesterday.  Scott spent some time puttering on things he wanted to do.  After rest time, we all headed out to a few local parks to play again.  Then out to dinner.  We wrapped up the night with dinner out at one of Daddy's favorite restaurants.

Though it was a low key and restful day, we loved being together as a family.  That's the best part of all when it comes to my hubby...he loves being with his family.  We are certainly blessed.
