My friend, Beth, invited us to join her family and another of her friends at a local berry patch. There were three moms chasing after 8 kids, ages 7 weeks to five years. We had a great time visiting a bit, working to keep the kids in our assigned rows, and trying to fill our boxes.

Once we got home, we made a strawberry pie, a double batch of freezer jam, and some strawberry muffins. We also enjoyed some strawberry shortcake and eating them fresh!
