"Oh Thank You, Thank You!"

When we were dating, I made Scott a fleece tie blanket. I've been thinking of making Jaelyn one for a while as she is growing bigger and outgrowing her current blankets.

Last night, we took her to the craft store to pick out her own fleece. When I told her we were there to make her a blanket like Daddy's she responded with an excited, "Oh, thank you, thank you!" What a doll!

She quickly picked a Little Mermaid print. We chose a coordinating color for the back and brought it home. It took all night and a good part of today to convince her that the two pieces of fleece are supposed to go together, but she finally relented to give up Ariel for an hour as I combined the two pieces. She was very happy with the result.
