Pine Grove Zoo

Rather than drive to southern Minnesota for the graduation ceremony, I decided I wanted to spend the day with the two people my program took me away from the most.

We started the day by having breakfast at Kay's Kitchen, a local restaurant with yummy breakfast. We then headed north to visit the Pine Grove Zoo. It was a small zoo, but it was a wonderful time. Jaelyn loved seeing the animals and we loved spending the day together.

She wasn't too sure about feeding the donkeys.

It was fun to see the bear come right up to the window to say "Hi".

"We have to find more animals, Mommy!"

Wiped out after all the excitement.

After we rested at home for a while, we headed out to dinner with some good friends to one of my favorite restaurants. We had such a great time, we were even asked to quiet down a bit. :) There's a lot to be said about me, but quiet isn't one of them! :) What a great day of celebration.
