Jaelyn's Cake

This year, for Jaelyn's second birthday, we decided to have a Blue's Clues party for her. She has been in love with Blue's Clues for the last few months. I decided to create a Blue's Clues cake for Jaelyn. What an undertaking it was! Though it took quite a while to make the cake and icing from scratch, I really did enjoy it. It certainly wasn't perfect by any means, but it was at least recognizable as Blue. :)

Here are four of the six colors of frosting I made. They were sitting out on the couch on the porch to stay cool. :)

Blue in process...

Finished project.

I don't think she minded the flaws. :)
