Wow, what a year it has been, full of surprises, joys, tears, and most of all blessings. Jaelyn brings so much joy and laughter into our lives. We really can't imagine our lives, even a year ago, without her.
She is such an inquisitive and happy child. She loves to explore and see what she can dig up in our home. Sometimes we are surprised by what she finds, things that we thought were safely tucked away. :) 
Jaelyn loves books. She will often walk over to her books, sit down and 'read' for up to 15 minutes on her own. If she tires of one book, she'll grab a different one and keep reading. What a joy to my teacher's heart!
There are often times I just look at her in total awe. I can't believe that my heart can hold so much love for such a little one. Happy Birthday, my sweet pea. Mommy loves you dearly.

AWWWW!!! I love these photos of my baby J! She is such a beautiful baby girl! I can't wait until she can hold a conversation! Once she starts talking, I hope she never goes quiet just like her aunty :) I love you my precious birthday present!!! I'm glad I got you! I must say this was the 2nd best birthday I've ever had... the first of course was when you were born! :)
