This weekend, we headed back to my hometown in Wisconsin to spend a long weekend with my parents and sister. I came out against my doctor's recommendation, but my back is feeling OK and the 6 hour drive wasn't too bad since we stopped a lot to stretch and walk around. I can walk upright now, though there is still pain. Also, my voice is back again. Thank you Lord!
Friday, we went out to my grandma and grandpa's house to get a four generation picture.
We also got a cute video of one of Jaelyn's favorite new 'games'. She has started to do this on her own with toys or when we put our hands up to her mouth. She was the 'main
stage event' at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
After time with my grandparents, Scott and I got to go out on a date...just the two of us. We went out for dinner, and then to see "Fireproof" at the movie theater. It was a great film. I think anyone who is married should see it, whether you have a strong marriage or a struggling one. It's a great 'refresher' on loving your partner.
