I Survived...Barely

Yesterday began with quite a few tears, much to my surprise. It was my first day back at work. I was trying to be strong, and get my tears out before I got to school, but with the first question of 'How are you doing?' I was a weeping mess. Sheesh...

Once my students starting arriving, I was able to pull it together and get on with the day, though it seemed to be all I could do to keep my head above water. Must be how a sub feels...so glad I never had to do that on a regular basis!

The day went well, my kids were glad to see me, and I was glad to see them, as well as have a bit more adult interaction. Even so, I was dying to get back home to hold Jaelyn again in my arms. That was such a good feeling to pick her up again that afternoon.

Only 32 days of going through this and then the summer is ours!

Oh dear! I was praying for you all day yesterday. Just 6 more Mondays...minus Memorial Day = 5 and the last one really doesn't count, so thats 4, plus a strategically placed personal day. Three Mondays...we can do two and a half Mondays, right? Its practically over. :)

Amazing what happens to a mommy's heart when she meets her child.....
Life will forever be altered as your your child begins to fill up your heart. Where did all that love come from? The best part is it continues to grow. Imagine the love a mother has when her child is 30? Love you my child, mom
