Yesterday, Jaelyn was 8 weeks old. I took her to the doctor for her two month check-up and I'm happy to report that all is well. She tipped the scales at 11 lbs. 1 oz. and her height measured at 23 1/4 in (95th percentile!). She also got four shots yesterday...YUCK! I was crying as much as she was. I've already told Scott that he needs to be there for her 4 month check up, when she gets more shots. I don't want to go through that by myself again.
Otherwise, things are going well. Jaelyn is still sleeping through the night. It's been wonderful to be able to get some sleep, and it's good timing as I prepare to head back to work on Monday. I can't believe how quickly time has flown by. She'll stay home with Scott for these next seven weeks, before summer hits. I have no doubt that he is going to take great care of her, I just wish I could be here for it as well.
