Yeah right! In the last week, we've gotten our tour of the Family Birthing Center in St. Cloud, had our weekend intensive Birthing Class, and our Breastfeeding Class. We have taken advantage of all the educational resources we've been offered. Many of our questions were answered, and we do feel more comfortable with this whole upcoming process, but we know there will be questions to come.
People keep asking if we're ready for the baby. Yes, we have the crib set up, and our make shift nursery mostly ready to go. We have a schedule of who will be taking care of Uma until the end of the school year. I've done almost all I can to prepare for my maternity leave at school. So in that sense, we are ready. But I always want to ask, is anyone ever TRULY ready for the life-changing event of bringing a child into this world?
We know we have many family members and friends who will join us on this journey and be willing to share their insight, wisdom, and experiences with us. For that we are grateful.
