For those of you who don't know Psalty, you are missing out. The Kids Praise albums were introduced to me when I was growing up. They are a series of 10 (plus 2 Christmas albums) kids musicals that feature, you guessed it, Psalty. I grew up listening to these tapes and still remember most of the songs. My church also performed many of the musicals, which I was involved in, as well. Practicing these songs over and over again, really solidifies them in your brain.
Since Scott and I got married, I've always said that when we have kids, we'll have to get the Psalty CDs so our kids can learn the same songs (and I'll have someone to sing them with!). At my last shower, my wish came true! When Des was out here, she brought out a wonderful gift (beyond just her friendship and all of the great help!)...she surprised me with the complete set of Psalty CDs...all 12 of them! I cried when I saw what was in that gift bag. We listened to the first two CDs on the way home from the shower. I still remember almost every word of the musicals.
They are a fantastic tool to use to teach kids about God and His love. I'm going to love sharing these with Baby Uma.

When I attend the first concert??
