In January, Jaelyn brought home a word list. She sat down and read all of the words to me. I was so proud of her! My momma's heart was bursting with pride! Since then, she has just taken off! 
She is bringing home books from school and reading them to us. I love hearing her sounding out words and getting excited about what she is learning. I've been bringing home little activities from school that she is ready for. In the one below, she spelled different words on her own. I feel a bit like I'm bragging, but what else is a blog for, right?
