My how much changes in just a month! Exactly one month ago, we were a happy family of three. We knew our little Alex would be joining us soon, but we had no idea it would be later that evening. What a wonderful addition to our family.
Now, fast forward one month. We are a happy family of four! Momma is a tad, ok, a LOT more tired than she was a month ago. Jaelyn has grown up so much as she has officially become a Big Sister. She takes her role very seriously and is always watching out for her brother. Daddy is working hard to pick up the slack around the house so his sleepy wife can get some rest when Baby Alex does.
And Alex, what a wonderfully sweet boy! He is getting so very big! Our bag of clothes he has grown out of cointinues to fill. We are about to pack away some of his three month outfits already. Alex is starting to share smiles with us, which makes everyone around him melt into puddles of goo, as we try to elicit just one more precious grin. He is also starting to 'talk' to us a bit. I love hearing his little voice and continue to imagine what life will grow into for this blessed family of four.
