Gymnastics and Dance

Recently, we went to see one of Jaelyn's babysitters in her dance program. Jaelyn asked to have a red skirt so she could go up and dance with the girls right then and there. She has also been talking about gynastis (gymnastics). So we signed her up for a gymnastics/dance class through Community Ed.

Jaelyn has been shy getting into the class each week, but once she feels comfortable, she is loving it. I'm so proud of her and have to admit I've gotten a bit teary eyed watching her in the class. She listens to her teacher and follows directions well. She waits her turn, but isn't afraid to confront someone if they are in her space.

When I asked her which she likes better, she said, "Ah, I like them both better, Mom!"

(I'm not able to get pictures of the dance portion because they've hung mini blinds to help keep the youngsters focused on the dance at hand.)

Yay Jaelyn! Magdalene has been doing a similar kind of class and she loves it. It's super cute!
