Jaelyn Visits Mommy's School

February is "I Love to Read Month." Today, Scott came in to read a story to my class. They have been asking to meet Jaelyn, so she came along this morning. Jaelyn wasn't too excited to talk to the kids. Instead, she just wanted to color. Oh well, the class still enjoyed seeing her.

On a similar note, Jaelyn has told me a handful of times that she doesn't want me to be a teacher. When I ask her why, she says it's because then I can't be her mommy. Oh sweet, precious child. I do all that I can to reassure her that I am her mommy first and a teacher second. She's slowly grasping that idea. So sweet.
