Tacoma Trip 3.0

Last weekend, Jaelyn and I got to head back to Tacoma, WA to visit Desiree. This was Jaelyn's third trip out to see Auntie Des. We left on Thursday afternoon and returned Sunday evening. It was a wonderfully relaxing trip filled with living life together. We got to visit with Desiree's friends and their kids, wandered through the farmer's market, watched a movie, had Thanksgiving dinner, and enjoyed everyday life. It was a great time with a great friend.

Here are a few of my favorites from the weekend.

Jaelyn did a fantastic job on the plane. She was so very excited to fly and kept me entertained on the flight. She finally fell asleep on the descent into Sea-Tac. :)

Desiree's mom came over Thursday night to visit. She brought over a great Pla-Do kit for Jaelyn. They created fish and had fun with all the shapes.

Jaelyn cuddled up to Des after just a short time together. So sweet.

Des is blessed to have a number of children in her life that she cares about. On Friday, all of the kids were together at her house. That made for one proud 'auntie'. Only two are blood relatives, but all are precious in her heart.
Jaelyn was snuggling up to watch a movie with her new friend 'Chi-Chi'.

Ready for a nice movie together.
