Target Field!

I realize I am from Wisconsin, Green Bay, no less, and now I am living in Minnesota, which is supposed to be our rival. I totally buy that when it comes to football. I won't be cheering for the Vikings...ever.
I just can't make the same promises when it comes to baseball. I don't follow it closely, but I always enjoy it when the Twins win. I've been to a few games and enjoyed them. Baseball is a sport that moves slowly enough that I can understand the basics of it. :)

This season is special for the Twins because it is their inaugural season in their new stadium, Target Field. Last night, Scott and I got to see a game there. What a blast! Not only was it a fun game (Twins beat Cleveland 9-3) but the stadium is fantastic. Scott almost caught a homer from Cuddy and watching a game under the darkening sky is so enjoyable.
The best part of the evening was that Scott planned the whole thing, including arranging Grandma Annie to stay with Jaelyn. I've known for two months that we had plans, but I didn't know where we were going until the last minute. He did a great job surprising me with a wonderful evening together.
