Neighbors

We bought our house about two years ago. When people ask about life in our home, I always mention the neighbors. Really, there is one neighbor in particular that I love living next to. She shares her garden fresh veggies, she lets me borrow a cup of brown sugar, and we visit over the fence. I water her garden when she's out of town, share chocolate chip cookies that I made with her brown sugar, and enjoy our visits in the front yards as well.

This evening, as we were coming home, we saw Kathy mowing her yard. Her dog, Eddie, was sitting on the step. Jaelyn wanted to go over and say 'hi'. Kathy gave Jaelyn Eddie's leash and we took him for a walk down the street and around our yard. A few times, Eddie was taking Jaelyn for a walk, but despite a few falls, she loved this time with her furry friend.
