This weekend, all three of us headed to Green Bay for Easter. It was our first long drive, as a family in the van, and we loved it!
On the way out to Green Bay, we stopped in Abbotsford and met up with some of my college friends, Craig and Joelle, and met their two kids. It was so nice to visit with them in the play room of McDonald's over lunch. Jaelyn even got to go down the spiral slide with Daddy, and she LOVED it!
Each day we were in Green Bay, Jaelyn got to spend some time outside in the yard with Grandma or Daddy. She loves being outside. When we start to walk towards the door to go out, she starts jumping up and down in our arms and waving her hands, so excited to get out there. On Friday, she got to chase a duck around the backyard for a while. The duck gave her a good run for her money and she never actually caught it, but she loved chasing after it.
Jaelyn also did so much better with everyone. She spent time with Grandpa, Grandma, and Amy without much fuss. They loved having her around.
On Easter Sunday, we went to my grandma's house, after church. Jaelyn spent some time playing with my cousin's daughter who is just one month younger than Jaelyn. It was fun to watch her and Eva work side by side, but never really playing with each other.
For those of you who read the comments on this blog, you'll notice that there is often comments from one "GPC". That is my Grandpa Charlie. Here is a photo of him and Jaelyn together. She had a lot of fun playing peek-a-book with him across the dinner table.
Here are a few other photos from the weekend that I liked. :)
