Those Elusive Zzzz's

I've heard much about the discomfort in the later stages of pregnancy. I think I am heading into that stage. Our due date is 9 weeks away and though I do realize I have a way to go yet, things are getting a little more uncomfortable. I've begun padding myself with pillows all around, trying to find that perfect position which will allow me to sleep through the night with out waking too much. Unfortunately I'm more of a sleep turner. I love to change positions throughout the night. If my pillows have me packed in, I may be more comfortable, but I still have to move and fully wake up to readjust my fluffy friends.

The last few mornings I've been awake, and unable to return to Sleepland anywhere between 4:00 am and 5:00 am. I know for some of your out there, this is your normal rise time. For me, it's at least an hour, sometimes two or three earlier than I'd like to be rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.

My body is just preparing me for middle of the night feeding times, right? (I just wish the prep course could start a few more weeks down the road...*yawn*)

Just wait until your bladder gets squished like a pancake...then you'll really be gettin' up lots during the night! hehe :-) By the end, I usual am visiting the bathroom about 4 times a night..sigh..but yes, then those night time feedings don't come with such a shock.

Wow, you only have 9 weeks to go! So exciting! I am just getting into the "can't have too many pillows" stage myself...
