Jaelyn's Special Day

As if Jaelyn hasn't had enough special days in the last week, we planned one more for her today.  We love being a family of four, but we already see the importance of individual time with each of the kiddos.  So, because it is President's Day, Scott and I had off of work, and Jaelyn's school was closed.  It was the perfect day for a 'date.'  We sent Xander to daycare and took Jaelyn out for a fun morning, just the three of us.

It started with a trip to Target to spend some of her birthday money.  There, she chose a Barbie mermaid, a Sleeping Beauty night light, and a microphone.
Then it was on to Toys R Us, where she really wanted a bike, but settled for this Hello Kitty umbrella.
From there, we headed to Bounce Depot. Jaelyn LOVED it there.  She played on every inflatable a few times.  Mommy and Daddy even got in on the fun once or twice.

Daddy taking an overly dramatic fall to make his girl giggle!

Once we left Bounce Depot we hit Taco Bell, Jaelyn's restaurant of choice today.  On the way home, she insisted she wasn't tired.  I think we have proof otherwise...:)

It was a fun morning together.  We were able to just focus on Jaelyn and love on her without any distractions.  Looking forward to more dates in the future with both of our kiddos.
