Tonight was a beautiul night to be outside. As Scott worked in the yard, Jaelyn and I went for a walk. She wanted to take out her trike for the first time this season. She did a great job with pedaling on her own!!! She needed some help and I pushed when she was tired, but she was able to pedal on her own, something she couldn't do last year. It's so fun to see her grow!!!
The next thing we need to work on is steering. If she started to stray towards the center of the road, she wouldn't turn the handlebars. Instead, she'd stop, stand up, turn the bike in the direction she wanted it to go, and then begin to pedal again. Hey, it works!
Once we got back, we decided to get out the tape measure. Sometime this spring or early summer, we'll be buying a playset for Jaelyn. I wanted to measure the area where we want it to make sure it will fit. Jaelyn had to get in on the fun and 'measure' with us. :)
