Thank You Girl Scouts!

As many of your know, Jaelyn has food allergies. We retested her at her two year appointment and she still is allergic to milk and eggs. We have learned how to adapt to her diet and it really isn't a big deal.

However, I have a sweet tooth, and though I've found ways to adopt many of my baking recipes for Jaelyn, I've always felt a bit bad for her when there isn't much that we can buy her for treats at the store. The few things we've found, haven't tasted great at all....actually pretty nasty.

Well, the Girl Scouts have changed all that. Today, I got our order of GS cookies. Their Thanks-A-Lot cookies are dairy free, egg free, and quite tasty! Jaelyn loved it.

Of course, she isn't smiling, but when she had one earlier today, she exclaimed, "I LIKE IT!!!!" :)

Thank You, Girls Scouts for providing a yummy treat for my girl. :)
