Beautiful Day

We have had a wonderful day today. We got to sleep in a bit. Scott and I awoke to hear Jaelyn talking in her crib. It was a great way to start the day, listening to her talk, coo, squeal, and chatter. After church, we laid Jaelyn down for a nap. This is what I found when I went into her room to get her up. She had been in there talking again, and had thrown out her blanket, her nuk, and her lovey and then got upset.

Happy to have them all again. :)When it was time for Jaelyn to eat, she wanted to try the fork herself. She practices at most meals and is getting pretty good at stabbing food for herself and then getting it into her mouth. The photos are a bit distorted, but you can see the peach she stabbed and then got into her mouth. :) As Jaelyn was eating dinner, we practiced her animal sounds. :) Beware of the fork coming at the screen! :)

After dinner we all went for a nice walk to a local park a few blocks from our house. We got to try out Jaelyn's new wagon. She loved the ride.

Jaelyn had a ton of fun on the swings, playing on the jungle gym, and going down the slides.
