Again, I am just amazed at how much our little one is growing. She is 11 months old today. Here are a few things she is up to these days.
- Blowing kisses
- Clapping
- Walking as much as she is crawling...check out the video below.
- Pointing to things she is interested in.
- Dancing
- She is remembering games that we play and initiating them, like placing toys on our heads, or 'sharing' her nuk with me.
- She is eating great. Her favorite thing right now is pineapple. But she also loves chicken, turkey, carrots, peas, crackers, jello, squash, sweet potatoes, pears, peaches, grapes, apples, and pretty much anything else we put in front of her.
- Jaelyn knows when she is near something she shouldn't be, like the cable for the television. She'll waddle over to it, reach her hand out to touch it, and just before she does, she'll turn around and smile at us, then proceed with her plan to try and play with it.
- She is also quite good at letting us know when she wants or needs something. She is learning to communicate and get her point across.
Yesterday, Scott was just saying how much fun she is and how each day she brings more and more joy into our lives. I couldn't agree more.

All this and just 11 months old..What will Jaelyn be like when she hits 2 years old..I think you and Scott will need to put your racing shoes on to keep up with Jaelyn.
Good Job Jaelyn! We are so proud of you!!! I think Sophie is almost ready...she took her first 2steps tonight...we'll see what happens next! I showed her your video, so hopefully she got some tips from you :)
we watched the video of Jaelyn walking and of course I got tearfilled eyes! We miss her so much and you and Scott! We can hardly wait to see you all again!
