Well, Jaelyn has now figured out how to wriggle her way out of the new swaddle that we learned from my cousin. We've wrapped her up so tight she was grunting as we pulled it tighter and tighter and just about every morning, she has scooted up and out of the blanket. So, we have begun putting her to bed without her swaddle and most nights she does quite well. We have to wake up once in a while to give her her nuk, but otherwise she is still sleeping through the night without her swaddle.
Another new 'feet'....Jaelyn has discovered her toes! She hasn't brought them up to her mouth yet, though I've tried to encourage her to, but she has definitely figured out that her toes can be fun play toys as well.
We are embarking on another first for Jaelyn tomorrow morning...flying. We are flying out of Minneapolis at 9:20 tomorrow morning, heading to Seattle. While there we'll spend time with my friend Desiree Elyse, which is where we got Jaelyn's middle name, and some of Scott's family. We are so excited to see everyone, though we're a bit nervous about the flights. We have our arsenal of baby soothers and hopefully something will work if she gets fussy on the flight. I'll be sure to let you know how the trip went when we get back!
